![]() ![]() Image added showing results from "Real Temp". ![]() Updated: I searched for another product to read CPU temperatures just for my piece of mind that there was no hardware issue and was happy to see there was no hardware problem. Please let me know if this version works fine for you. It would be really nice if this were fixed in Speccy but maybe it works fine in most cases and these are just isolated incidents. But now, fellow gamers, that was it for me. The same reading problem may be true for Speccy.Īs other people have this same problem with Speccy and CPU + Motherboard temps then it is not likely to be a hardware issue in my PC but more likely as previously surmised it has come about from a Windows update. I tried a few times and the system info from the wallpaper seemed to always match with the ones from task manager (CPU usage and so on). This seems to indicate a reading problem. A good GPU temperature varies depending on the make and model, but in general, you want your idle GPU temperatures to range between 30☌ to 45☌. In this picture, I’m using overclocked Core i9-9900k on MSI MPG Z390. Yes, it will also show you the CPU usage, GPU performance, RAM utilization and many other performance aspects. Real Temp is a temperature monitoring program designed for all modern Intel processors. To help with more info I installed Speedfan which can read PC temps and it showed my CPU as 128 degC (un-rounded value is 127.5) which I did not believe so starting the PC up new on the next day I checked Speedfan and the CPU temp was still 128 degC. FPS Monitor is an excellent software that not only displays your game’s frame rate but also other aspects of your game that affect performance. Includes a GPU load test to verify PCI-Express lane configuration. No fps counter Using the always on top method messes up EA origin games so turn it off when done. Windows task manager has an always on top option. You can pin the gpu/cpu/fps counter to the screen then close the rest. Displays overclock, default clocks and 3D/boost clocks (if available) Detailed reporting on memory subsystem: memory size, type, speed, bus width. If you press windows key + g windows gamebar will pop up. Displays adapter, GPU and display information. When you are watching overall PC temperatures then the CPU and Motherboard temps are quite important measurements. The ASUS TUF Gaming A16 Advantage Edition (2023) is a gaming laptop with an all-AMD configuration. Supports NVIDIA, AMD, ATI and Intel graphics devices. You can graph a time series on all of the data it monitors. It monitors everything you could want about your processor, memory, motherboard, graphics (both descrete and on chip graphics), disk drives, and utilization of these resources. I will create a bug report to go with this post. Not Asus, but a very comprehensive and well supported monitoring tool is HWINFO64. I imagine a number of other Speccy Users also have this issue. In the menu on the left side, switch to the P erformance tab.Just like the other reports in this thread I have the same problem. In the most recent versions of Windows 11, you can also right-click an empty area of the taskbar to find it. There are multiple CPU temperature monitoring programs to choose from, with the best tools for checking CPU temperature, including Core Temp, NZXTs CAM, AIDA64, HWiINFO, or HWMonitor. Right-click the Start menu icon and choose Task Manager to open it.But if you do have a dedicated graphics card, here's how to check its temperature on Windows 11: It's worth noting that this will most likely only work if your PC has a discrete GPU, so if you're using a computer with integrated graphics, you might not be able to see it. The easiest way to find out the temperature of your GPU is to use Task Manager. Check the GPU temperature in Task Manager If you want to keep an eye on the temperature of your GPU in Windows 11, there are a few ways to do that. Even worse, high temperatures can damage your components over time. When components overheat, they tend to throttle, which can cause issues in games and other programs. CPUID brings you system & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting quality softwares for your Windows & Android devices. Knowing the temperature of your PC components can be very important in diagnosing certain problems with your laptop or PC, whether it's just performance or some kind of crash that might be happening. Your application is a few minutes away from being able to keep an eye on most PC systems health sensors: voltages, temperatures & fan speeds. ![]()
